Facial recognition data to enable Familiar Face Detection feature: If you choose to use the familiar face detection feature on your eufy Security, we will process face images and underlying face prints for the purpose of enabling your device to recognize familiar faces and to notify you of familiar people. Using the app and your account, you will control whether this biometric processing occurs.
eufy Security's products and services are primarily intended for individual use. Nonetheless, the data protection and privacy laws in your residence may impose certain responsibilities on you while using products and services. For certain video, audio, and facial recognition data (such as video, audio, and data from Video Doorbell Dual) collected by products and services, as an owner, you are the controller of these data under applicable law, and Eufy is the processor of those data.
You agree that it is your responsibility (not Eufy) to ensure that you comply with any applicable laws when using the products and services, including but not limited: (i) any relevant laws that include recording or sharing video or audio of third parties, or (ii) any laws that require notification of a third party, or a third party agrees or expressly consents to your use of Video Doorbell Dual.
If a local law prohibits the use of face detection function, please strictly comply with it, and turn off this function. If the laws and regulations of doorbell location have restrictions on face feature acquisition, acquisition methods, feature recognition and other applications, please follow the local laws and regulations. Also, please avoid third party (especially children under the age of 13) to operate face recognition function.
What information does Video Doorbell Dual collect?
(i) Face images marked for familiar people.
(ii) Markable unfamiliar faces images.
Video Doorbell Dual will list the screenshots of markable unfamiliar faces taken within 7 days. The device owner can tab faces as familiar faces. Faces images unmarked within 7 days will automatically be deleted.
We will take relevant security measures for the data stored, including but not limited to encryption.
If you delete your face images data or your account, we will no longer retain the above data.

You understand and agree that, in order to meet the requirement of policies and business, we will update the content of this statement when it is necessary, and then publish it on this Application. Please refer to the update of this terms in time to use our products and services.
Certain state legislation may affect Illinois customers’ use of the feature, so you should turn it off as a precaution. If the home where you use your camera is in Illinois, you need to get consent to have your camera help identify people visiting your home.
